Membership
As a Royal Canadian Legion, we primarily support Veterans and their families, but we also welcome those without military affiliation into our Membership. Legion members help Veterans and their families, promote Remembrance, support Legion programs, and volunteer their time to provide essential services within our communities. Without Legion volunteers, the tremendous programs and services the Legion provides to our Veterans and their families would disappear.
Early Bird Membership Renewals: Renew today! Sept. 1st to Nov. 30th
Member Benefits Package: See Membership Chairperson for details
Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteer in the Executive, administrative, day-to-day operations levels of our Legion, or coordinate and supervise events like the annual Poppy Campaign, recruit other volunteers, propose and head-up a new event or operations Committee, dedicate time to becoming a newly trained Bingo volunteer or share with us your best karaoke! There are many new, evolving positions monthly.
There is strength in numbers, more volunteers welcome!
Annual Poppy Campaign:
As October nears, we are actively making preparations to launch our local Poppy Campaign to businesses, residents and schools. We depend on volunteers, both Legion members and members of the community to help distribute Poppies, and so much more. As members, it is our duty to support the Campaign.
With just a couple hours of your time, you will be helping us honour our Veterans, and raising funds in support of serving and retired military and RCMP members and their families in need.
We need drivers, canvassing volunteers, relief volunteers, poppy awareness volunteers, Remembrance Day ceremonies (2) volunteers, Youth Auxillary volunteers, and many others. Just ask!
